Desert Observatory, 2021. Designed for my final freshman project at UArizona CAPLA, this observatory near Gates Pass in Tucson features multiple viewing elevations connected by an interior cable car system. The tube steel frame is carefully tailored with openings that frame views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, creating a dynamic connection to the desert landscape.
