Desert Refuge, 2022. Designed as rentable remote camping enclosures for 2 to 8 people, featuring two domes housing sleeping areas, storage, a central hearth, and a split shower and bathroom. Rainwater is collected from a translucent dish-shaped roof connecting the enclosures. This project marked my first use of structural engineering software for load testing and wind analysis. Constructed with rammed earth sourced from the excavation site, the design integrates environmental animations and data through QR codes.
