Earthcasting
Earth Cast Tiles, 2021. Using skills cultivated during my Cosanti Originals apprenticeship, I created these earth cast concrete tiles, experimenting with each batch to refine the process. The reliefs mirror the designs I imprinted on the bronze wind bells, bridging my work in metal and concrete. These small-scale tiles played a key role in developing my understanding of earth casting, leading to the production of larger-scale furniture pieces in 2022.
