Light and Perception Study, 2024. For my ARC 330 On Light and Lighting class with Claudia Kappl-Joy, I drew inspiration from my recent visit to The Mezzrow Jazz Club in New York. This week’s assignment focused on human perception and the act of remembering and comparing. The ethereal glow of the orange lightbulbs at The Mezzrow left a lasting impression, creating a magical atmosphere that I captured and reflected on in my project.
