Glassblowing
Glassblown Lampshades, 2024. Earlier this year, I crafted these glassblown lampshades as part of my preparation for the On Light and Lighting elective with Claudia Kappl-Joy. For my final project, where we designed and built lamps, I exhibited these lampshades alongside my metal shroud lamps to the class. Now permanently hung in my room, the shades create a beautiful ambiance, with their light adding warmth and accentuating the space. This project was a rewarding exploration of craftsmanship and lighting design.
