Light Tube Color Studies, White Sands, 2024. While working on the 3D model with Andy Demetriou for Professor Jesús Robles’s Last Nuclear Bomb Memorial options studio, I became interested in how the light tubes, designed to channel sunlight into underground caverns, looked when partially buried in the sand. I explored this effect through a series of color studies that highlighted the beauty of filtered light in the landscape.
