Marfa Field Trip Sketches, 2024. One of the most memorable experiences of architecture school was visiting Marfa, Texas with Professor Jesús Robles’s Last Nuclear Bomb Memorial option studio. It was my first time in Texas, and we explored the Donald Judd compound along with installation works by artists like Dan Flavin. The visit was deeply inspiring. Thank you to Claudia Kelly Sundman for the ride and generous hospitality. These sketches capture moments from the trip, including a few made by friends that reflect the shared experience.
