Capstone Year
Field Sketches, Agua Prieta and Southern Arizona, 2024. For Bob Vint’s Arid Region Seminar class, we traveled through southern Arizona and into Mexico, visiting Douglas, Tombstone, and several small towns where our professor had ongoing projects. In Agua Prieta, we toured a stunning border library and a breathtaking sports complex arena. We stayed at Hacienda Feliz and spent time doing charity work with the local community. One of my favorite memories from the trip was riding bikes at sunset around Agua Prieta with my friend Yuseph.
