Capstone Year
Capstone Research, Metaphysics of Light Track, 2024. This post includes a Canva website documenting the early research and experimentation for my final capstone project. I explored Josef Albers’s Interaction of Color, creating cast concrete models from random foam cuttings and overlaying them into a complementary and contrast matrix to study formal relationships through Albers’s lens. I also cast select film photographs from my summer abroad into concrete, examining their light qualities. The work includes theoretical reflections and initial studies on how sacred light interacts with physical form in architecture.
