Film Photos in Florence, 2024. My visit to Florence was entirely unplanned. Originally intending to stay in Pisa and see the Leaning Tower, a four-hour flight delay led to a change of plans. After landing early in the morning at the small Pisa airport, I found myself stranded with no taxis or Ubers. Wandering through the parking lot, a kind local family offered me a ride to the train station. Despite my insistence, they refused to accept any payment. At the station, I met four Florentine locals in the same predicament, and we boarded an empty train together at sunrise. They shared tips on the best places to eat and explore in Florence, setting the tone for an incredible day. Arriving to streets glistening from fresh rain, I spent the day wandering, soaking in the city's rich history, museums, and churches. Captured on 35mm film, these photos document an unexpected yet unforgettable adventure in Florence.
