Film Photos in Toledo, 2024. Visiting Toledo felt like stepping into a cinematic experience. Arriving by train, the ornate red brick station immediately caught my eye. The small town, perched on a hill and enclosed by ancient walls, was breathtaking to explore. One memorable sight was the city’s unique trash collection system, miniature trucks with open hoppers driving through narrow streets as residents tossed garbage bags from their balconies (see slide 10). Another highlight was witnessing a biker wedding near the Jewish quarter, with roaring motorcycles celebrating the newlyweds. On my way back, I crossed a rustic stone bridge to catch the train home. Captured on 35mm film, these photos reflect the charm and quirks of Toledo.
