Black and White Film Walk, 2024. Using the last of my black-and-white film from Jason Reimer’s Film Photo 101 class at SDCCD, I explored Tucson on a morning photo walk with Damien Narum-Brelay. It was a great experience, and we discovered some amazing photo spots, including an unexpected adventure to the roof of the aerospace engineering school. A chance encounter with a student holding the only access key led us to incredible rooftop views, making the day even more memorable. In this old room above the elevator shaft we found a huge cast iron elevator cable machine which was really cool.
